    • This evening’s class will focus on contextualizing ancestors within significant historical events that may have impacted their lives.

    • Cost: $5 for non-members
    • Participants will learn advanced techniques for navigating Ancestry.com and how to link DNA results to family trees.
  • Genealogy for Beginners (Parts I, II, III)
    • Presenter: Diane Warmsley
    • Cost: $10 for non-members (Includes all three parts)
    • Part I introduces basic genealogy concepts and a five-step research model.

    • Part II covers census, military, and social security records.

    • Part III discusses immigration and naturalization records.

  • Researching West Indian Ancestors: Strategies and Resources

    • This class will introduce methodologies for tracing West Indian lineages using various records.

About the Presenter:

Diane Warmsley is a distinguished genealogist with over 25 years of experience. She holds a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and an MS in Education. Diane has contributed to significant projects, including research for the popular series “Finding Your Roots.” She is affiliated with multiple genealogical organizations and societies.
